Eat healthy, live longer
Eat healthy, live happier
There's a saying that goes something like this, " your body is your temple, keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in". What we put in our body, what we eat or drink defines our lifestyle and our mental health as well as our personality.
As we all know that cutting off oily or fried foods and sugary drinks and avoiding red meat etc. Can help us live a better life and can protect us from several diseases like diabetes or cardiac problems or obesity. And there's no doubt about it that we all should avoid eating like that. Cause it's harmful for our metabolism and our overall health and fitness.
But here are some suggestions you can try to keep your diet clean and live a more healthier and happier life to the next level.
1. Intermittent fasting
2. Green tea
3. Exercising
4. Drinking water alot
5. Always keep a smile on your face
1. Intermittent fasting
As Muslims we fast for a certain amount of time for a specific month, intermittent fasting is not for religious purposes but it's for a better and healthy lifestyle.
It's a not a diet but it simply is a way of allowing yourself when to eat and when not to eat. In intermittent fasting you can eat anything or everything but for a limited time, it's usually 16 hours daily you skip two meals and eat only the third one. Usually you eat dinner and don't eat anything until the next day till noon. It's a great eating pattern and often it is recommended for weight loss or a better lifestyle.
2. Green tea/ herbal tea
When you cut off all the high calorie drinks and sugary drinks and switch to tea, green tea or herb tea is the most efficient and common replacement in this regard. It helps loose weight, specially it help reduce belly fat. Drinking tea can also reduce your stress and make your mind calm.
3. Exercising
Obviously when we plan to lose weight or live a healthier lifestyle we cannot avoid the importance of exercising. And by exercise it does not mean that you go full out on the very first day of your healthy lifestyle.
Slowly and gradually increasing the time and methods helps you. Some people who live a healthier life just go on a run for an hour at the morning or some like to take a walk for an hour after dinner, some prefer to do yoga or stretching. All of these methods are at the end of day count as exercises.
You can't just go and join the gym and work out for hours, first you have to take baby steps and get used to it.
4. Drinking water
Water doesn't have any calories, so drink alot of it. From 2 to 3 liters of water everyday is necessary. Water washes out your bladder from bacteria, making your immune system stronger. Want good skin? Drink water. It increases oxygen to our brain and increases our red blood cells.
5. Keep smiling
Keeping a smile on your face not only is a great way to deal with life but it also beneficial for your health. Smiling reduces blood pressure and it triggers your brain to produce more endorphins which relieves your stress.
